Responsibilities

• Manage and grow product sections under your care through strong product selection, good pricing management and strong supplier sourcing.
  
  
• Build and manage product suppliers effectively, including receiving good supplier marketing contributions & rebates, and obtaining good product cost price for long‑term partnership growth.
  
  
• Carry out accurate market evolution studies and trends to develop solid product strategies and tactics to grow the company bottom line, expand market share and achieve margin goals.
  
  
• Collaborate effectively with Customer Marketing Teams by providing them with product knowledge, product information and analytical input in a timely manner for effective marketing campaigns.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with logistics, sales and customer service teams to ensure cross‑departmental stakeholders receive information on all product marketing strategies and tactics.
  
  
• Responsible for effective strategic purchasing and budget achievement (supplier’s back and program), timely management of no/slow‑mover products, validation of new suppliers and product listing.
  
  
• Handle end‑to‑end product sourcing arrangements (e.g., government tax, custom duty, delivery timeleap) within Malaysia, Singapore or internationally and follow group marketing guidelines.
  
  
• Ensure the quality supplier and product sourcing process meets company ISO standards and group requirements.
  
  
• Carry out supplier and product review yearly with the management team to ensure performance of the product and suppliers meet customers’ expectations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or Business or a combination of education and experience in a related field.
  
  
• Experience as a SAP user, high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), strong supplier sourcing skills, product margin knowledge, and good data analysis skills.
  
  
• Effective communicator and negotiator; well versed in verbal and written communication in English.
  
  Multi‑language is an advantage.
  
  
• 5 years of working experience in marketing/supply chain function with a minimum of 3 years in marketing, sales or product management experience in PPE and consumer products.
  
  
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations, market trends, and customer needs, combined with a solid background in product management.
  
  
• Position based in Senai, Johor.
  
  
• Salary range between MYR6k‑MYR8k + performance bonus.
