Blockrate helps high-potential B2B software companies from Europe and the US expand across Asia.

We act as their growth team on the ground, combining market research, business development, and local representation to generate qualified opportunities in seven key markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Developer to support Blockrate’s Business Managers in building qualified pipelines for our international software clients.

You will focus on prospecting, lead qualification, and early-stage engagement, support our Business Managers on business development and client strategy.

This role is ideal for someone motivated to learn, structured in execution, and interested in the international B2B software space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential accounts and contacts across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Australia.

  • Conduct structured outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, and other digital channels on behalf of our clients.

  • Qualify prospects based on defined criteria and book discovery meetings for Blockrate’s Business Managers.

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, interactions, and pipeline activity in CRM tools.

  • Support Business Managers by preparing account briefs, industry snapshots, and call notes.

  • Monitor market activity and share relevant news or events that could trigger commercial opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the team to refine outreach tactics, targeting, and messaging based on results.

Your Profile

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a research-oriented commercial role (internship or junior role experience also considered).

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Comfortable using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Hubspot, or similar.

  • Interest in the B2B software industry and international business.

  • Organized, disciplined, and self-driven, with a structured approach to outreach.
