Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Academic requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg.
  
  Bootcamp) can be accepted.
  
  

Required technical Skills:

• Hands-on development and delivery experience (+3 years) using Node.JS

• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka

• Experience in Cloud Computing (AWS)

• Experience in SQL, NoSQL

• Familiarity with POSTGRESQL database

• Great Object-Oriented coding practices, including strong design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.
  
  

• Experience in DevOps capabilities E.g. Jenkins, Maven, GIT, etc

• Real passion for software engineering and best practices

• Passion for technology, team leadership and a willingness to mentor and work with developers at all levels of experience

• Experience in Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approach such as Continuous Integration, TDD, infrastructure as code

• Experience with Elastic Search

• Experience in Transfer Agency business is appreciated

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test a large-scale, custom distributed software system using latest Node.JS, Kafka and NOSQL technologies

• Employ agile development practices including test and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery to improve overall execution speed and product quality.
  
  

• Function as in-house consultant/expert for resolution of complex technical issues.
  
  Research emerging trends/best practices and determine implications of proposed solutions on meeting business unit strategy

• Be a technology advocate and share expertise with other team members.
  
  

• Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle.
  
  

• Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team.
  
  

Typical day:

• You will be participating as a full-time team member on an Agile development team where you will be liaising with other Scrum teams, Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts and QAs, as appropriate.
  
  

• Every day you will provide us with your expertise and passion for software developments, dealing with your peers, being motivated, self-driven and proactive.
  
  

• You will take pride in producing quality products with an analytical mind
