Strong understanding of development processes including testing, code quality, and system design.
Experience in a technical leadership capacity within a project is a plus.**Main Responsibilities:*** Support business operations by configuring systems or developing new features within Java applications.* Monitor application performance and ensure high responsiveness and reliability.* Analyze and resolve production issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.* Contribute to maintaining and improving code quality, with a focus on test automation.* Stay updated with technology trends and propose solutions that enhance productivity and business efficiency.* Maintain comprehensive documentation for development and production support processes.**Technical Skills:*** Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.* Proficient in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.* Skilled in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).* Familiar with version control systems such as Git or RTC.* Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.* Experience with JUnit and automated testing practices.**Soft Skills:*** Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.* Proficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate with a multinational team.* Ability to work well in a team environment and engage with both technical and business stakeholders.* Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.* Strong sense of ownership and accountability.**Academic Requirements:*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.* Alternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) may also be considered.* Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.**Preferred Industry Background:** Experience in the Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable.
