The Impact You’ll Make
Review revenue contracts submitted by the Business, determine proposed accounting treatment based upon the deal terms, US GAAP, and the Company’s stated accounting policies.
Partner with business operations, sales operations, business development and Finance in driving the evaluation of deal structures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and revenue-recognition technical standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development
Prepare authoritative memorandums and other audit schedules required to substantiate the company’s position for revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP
Monitor and review contracts for multiple element arrangements that will require an analysis to allocate arrangement consideration using the relative selling price method on a quarterly basis
What You’ll Do
Review deal contract structure and execution.
Review allocation of consideration across multiple elements; manage calculations from both forecast and actuals perspective
Partner with business operations, sales operations, business development, Finance, etc.
on ensuring compliance as well as desired financial outcome of deal structure and execution
Support SOX and external audit processes and deliverables
Prepare quarter end reports, memos, reconciliations
Prepare quarterly/annual 10Q/10K and IFRS deferred revenue disclosures
Support quarter end analysis in support of close review and activities
Who We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or equivalent
Semiconductor industry experience
MS Office - Excel proficiency
SAP experience
Technical accounting experience
Strong communications skills, ability to work independently but cross-functionally
