About the job

The Microsoft 365 Exchange & Collaboration Expert maintains the global M365 Exchange & Collaboration services for all AXA entities worldwide.

This is a key role within the M365 global Product Line team and represents an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Engineer to join a market-leading organization.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain the global M365 platform, including planned maintenance, updates, upgrades, patching, migrations, consolidations, deployments and project support.
  
  
• Assess and test new features for Exchange Online & M365 Collaboration services released by Microsoft.
  
  
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of security and availability.
  
  
• Maintain operational, configuration, and standard operating procedures and documentation.
  
  
• Manage knowledge transfer of operations to L2 teams to shift left activities.
  
  
• Provide expertise and guidance on Microsoft 365.
  
  
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  
  
• Assess security threats and implement countermeasures to comply with group recommendations and legal obligations.
  
  
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and compliance teams to address security threats, configure and report on security aspects of the Microsoft 365 environment and the on-premise platform.
  
  Ensure compliance with Group Security policies.
  
  
• Provide expertise on the hybrid provisioning platform.
  
  
• Collaborate with M365, Architecture, Cyber Defense, Proofpoint, and Group Security teams; collaborate with all AXA entities.
  
  
• Be a leader and drive change within the Microsoft 365 Product Line team.
  
  

Experience and qualifications

Experience

• Experience in managing M365 in tenant environments with more than 75k users
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience analyzing, documenting, and maintaining a large-scale messaging infrastructure
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 in a Hybrid provisioning and authentication environment
• Minimum of 3 years of senior expertise with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Messaging platform and M365 Collaboration tools
• Minimum of 3 years experience with integrating LOB applications with Exchange Online via Microsoft Graph / Exchange Web Services
• Minimum of 3 years experience in PowerShell scripting
• Experience in international and heterogeneous environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance services, Purview, Defender

Nice to have skills

• Broad knowledge of information systems including Windows security, network security, systems development, communication networks, security software/hardware and operating systems other than Windows
• C# development and Terraform
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Federated authentication
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a strong team environment, teaching and learning continuously
• Ability to foster relationships with IT Management and Client departments
• Ability to explain technical concepts to business users in the context of business requirements
• Maintains knowledge of Information Security principles and practices
• Ability to communicate a technical vision and drive a small team
