The Operations and Strategy Management (OSM) team leads the integration of SAFe Agile and DevOps practices across Global MES development teams, with a strategic focus on embedding AI/ML capabilities into manufacturing operations.
As stewards of the AI Space initiative, OSM ensures that machine learning and GenAI technologies are operationalized to enable smarter, data-driven decision-making.
OSM also designs and governs service management processes, serving as Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to promote Agile values across the organization.
The team manages both on-premises and cloud-based development environments, supporting Seagate’s broader strategy for innovation, agility, and operational excellence
About the role - you will:
Participate in a project showcasing the transformative impact of AI/ML at Seagate through the development of a GenAI-powered Operations Dashboard.Contribute to building an interactive dashboard using technologies such as ChainLit, Streamlit, MCP, Python, LLMs, RAG (ChromaDB, pgvector), and n8n.Develop database health monitoring features that provide actionable insights and system diagnostics.Align dashboard functionality with strategic goals for IT operations and AI adoption.Collaborate with experienced professionals in a team-oriented environment, deepening your understanding of IT service management and real-world AI/ML applications in manufacturing.Support the development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with the project’s strategic vision.Design interactive features that deliver operational insights to factory IT teams.Strengthen your skills in Tableau reporting and in developing SharePoint and custom web portals.Enhance your data analysis capabilities while gaining exposure to AI technologies.About you:
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and AI/ML experts.Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies, particularly in data visualization and system integration.Interest in exploring how GenAI can transform operational workflows and enhance decision-making.Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in Python and web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with Tableau and an understanding of basic design principles for creating intuitive dashboards is a plus.Exposure to GenAI applications in manufacturing or IT operational contexts is a plus.Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks is a plus.Location:
