Project Manager

• Manages the design, engineering and construction of commercial and industrial scale solar PV systems, including but not limited to the electrical, structural and mechanical aspects of the projects.
• Develops, maintains and executes the project proposal or work plan.
• Establishes or oversees the work plan, staffing, and budgeting for each phase of project execution, including design, engineering, procurement and construction.
• Conduct engineering site visit to plan equipment and interconnection locations at the site and connections to the existing electrical system.
• Coordinates preparation and regular updates of the project execution plan.
• Ensure completion of projects within the time frame and budget with quality
• Provides and coordinates engineering support for business development as needed.
• Has primary responsibility for overseeing execution of and compliance with construction contracts and works with construction team to ensure adequate scopes of work under those contracts.
• Arranges for and organizes regularly scheduled project meetings to facilitate, confirm and communicate status of progress and assign tasks.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others) or equivalent
• Required skills): PVSyst AutoCAD, Project Management.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
• Candidate to be trained for solar power system industry best practices and design standards
• Field experience in installation, start-up testing and commissioning will be an added advantage
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Windows, and MS Project.
• Highly organized and skillful at working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Willing to travel when needed
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of engineers to achieve the department and company target.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position but applicants without experience will be considered
