SAP IS-Auto-Warranty Consultant role at DXC Technology

Responsibilities
- Manage, implement and strategize the design, development and implementation of SAP IS-Automotive; through the development, establishment and implementation of SAP IS-Automotive in warranty enhancement framework by covering its functionalities, integrated solutions, capabilities and security to achieve efficient operability, compliance and productivity.
- SAP Functional Support: identify areas of improvements and propose improvement plans to the customers; provide solutions to medium to complex requirements in the IS-Auto (Warranty) domain.
- Provide guidance and coaching to subordinates to enable them to manage their day-to-day operations.
- Manage and coordinate resolutions of change requests and/or projects that may involve system enhancements and training requests.
- Manage mid-level management clients, company management and project team expectations for agreed project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics; recommend and implement changes based on performance.
- Develop and present materials that could lead to expanded business opportunities; participate in proposal efforts and sales calls to enhance opportunities for future business deals with clients.
- Oversee assigned personnel for projects/operations; assign work and provide direction on timeliness and completion of project activities; address performance issues within prescribed guidelines.
Project Execution
- Support the transition team in capturing technical knowledge and ensure site operation teams are trained to support site infrastructure; perform job shadowing and go-live preparations.
- Self-starter and independent in managing tasks; proactively propose improvements to simplify processes.
Service Management and Continuous Improvements
- Review incidents and problems, perform analysis, resolve incidents and problems; escalate when necessary while retaining ownership on behalf of users.
- Seek opportunities to develop and maintain knowledge of business processes and SAP functionality; deliver SAP Functional support within agreed service levels and budgets.
- Adhere to DXC IT support procedures, policies and guidelines; implement operational continuous improvement initiatives to better serve client needs.
- Help with regular reviews and analysis of Problem Management data to identify root causes and preventative actions; enter SAP solutions into the knowledge base; prepare SOPs for service effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of experience in SAP Support or SAP project implementation in IS-Auto (Warranty).
- Ability to understand and utilize new SAP technology and provide solutions to complex IS-Auto (Warranty) requirements.
- Knowledge of SAP IS-Automotive (Warranty); understanding of integration with other SAP modules and external systems is a plus.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA; ability to coach junior staff is a plus.
- ITIL v4 certification is a plus.
Other Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional) are a plus.
