As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust architectural solutions that support our operational needs and enhance security measures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure service that meet the evolving needs of DHL Group.
  
  
• Provide third level support for architectural issues, engaging in troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents that were not resolved at lower support levels.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and specialists to address intricate technical challenges.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with vendors regarding firmware bugs, vulnerabilities, and other technology-related issues to ensure timely resolutions.
  
  
• Stay abreast of security technologies associated with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Proxies, Azure, and Google Cloud, providing expert guidance and support in these areas.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in system architecture, design, and implementation, particularly within large-scale enterprise environments.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and technologies, with a focus on protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure and Google Cloud, and their architectural frameworks.
  
  
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
  
• Experience with the following technologies
• Kubernetes (CKAD)
• Java – to provide guidance to developers (Springboot, Spring framework)
• JMS – MQ / Kafka
• Openshift
• Docker
• Jenkins / Github
• Dynatrace
• APIGEE, SpringCloud gateway
• Golang
• Webmethods

As a Senior Architect, having good knowledge and experience with Kubernetes is a huge plus.

Very good knowledge of Java , ability to review the code and providing guidance to developers will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of JMS, Openshift, Docker and Jenkins/Github .

You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure.

Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

Hi, my name is Vladimir Grul and I’m a team manager.

I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2004, when I took a role as Application Support Specialist in the Shared Data Services team.

Gaining more hands-on experience with application support has always fascinated me, so I moved to the System Integration support team.

From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed an ESB Support team lead role.

In 2023, I moved to a management role, being ES SI Platform ESB sub-domain manager.

Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – Enterprise Service Bus.
