Our Manufacturing Division is expanding! We are looking for a Senior level CNC Programmer for our automotive parts (two-wheels) manufacturing arm.
This role will be responsible in creating and modifying computer programs that control CNC machines to produce precise parts and products.
This role will interpret engineering drawings and use CAD/CAM software to write programs in G-code, setting up machine tools, and ensuring the machines are properly calibrated.
 Key Responsibilities 
  - Analyse drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates.
 
 
- Prepare CNC programming with CAD/CAM software, monitoring CNC programs and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design.
 
 
- Setting CNC programs for new products and determine new fixture for manufacturing.
 
 
- Determine correct cutting tools in order to reduce machining times, remove additional operations, improve surface finishing and enhance accuracy levels.
 
 
- Informing QC dept or the management of any non-conforming products.
 
 
- Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up of CNC machines, including instruction sheets on cutter tools setup.
 
 
- Review and verify design drawings and other technical documentation to ensure correctness and accuracy in form, fit and function.
 
 
- Improve programming process and procedures from time to time.
 
 
- To oversee overall production process and report to superior for any major issues in factory.
 
 
- Implement 5S and Kaizen activities continuously.
 
 
- To establish or review safety work procedures in order to ensure all works performed are in compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
 
 
Requirements 
  - Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or technical training in CNC machining.
 
 
- At least 8-10 years of experience with MasterCAM software or 3-5 years of SolidCAM and HyperMILL software experience in machining and programming.
 
 
- Preferably knowledge of functioning, setting up and operating of the 5-axis CNC machines.
 
 
- Good understanding of Geometrical Dimensional Tolerances.
 
 
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings.
 
 
- Skilled in recognizing improper functioning of machine and/or cutting actions of tools.
 
 
- Capable to use common measuring equipment.
