Senior Developer, Front End (New Marketplace Development)
We’re looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our team and build intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces for our eCommerce platform using React .
You will collaborate closely with backend developers (MedusaJS), designers, and product managers to deliver seamless shopping experiences that delight customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable React components for an eCommerce storefront.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs from MedusaJS, ensuring smooth data flow and user experience.
- Optimize frontend performance for fast load times and smooth interactions.
- Participate in UI/UX discussions and help translate designs into functional components.
- Integrate and customize headless CMS tools to manage dynamic content effectively.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure frontend code quality.
- Work with product managers and designers to gather requirements and deliver new features.
- Maintain clear documentation of frontend architecture, components, and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience building frontend applications with React .
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity , Strapi , Contentful , or similar.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or similar.
- Basic understanding of backend concepts, especially headless eCommerce platforms like MedusaJS.
- Proficient in Git version control and collaborative workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript in React projects.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to GraphQL and advanced CMS integrations.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
