Senior Finance Manager (Based in Shah Alam)

Top MNC company is hiring for a Senior Finance Manager to be based at Shah Alam.

Currently looking for an exceptional individual to join their dynamic team as the Senior Finance Manager.


Your new role

  • Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports for management decision-making.

  • Analyze financial performance, comparing actual results against budgets, and provide insights and recommendations to the Country GM and operational leaders to improve business outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal controls to mitigate risks.

  • Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to support daily operations and future investments.

    Maintain strong relationships with banks and creditors to secure favourable terms.

  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely tax filings, address queries, and complete statutory audits in compliance with regulations.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team to build a high-performance culture and promote collaboration.

  • Support ad hoc financial projects and provide assistance to other regional finance teams as needed.

  • What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA etc.

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Minimum 10 years of accounting & finance experience in a fast moving industry (eg: Trading, Retail, Distribution, FMCG, Logistics etc)

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and MS Office applications.

  • Leadership and team management experience.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to meet tight deadlines.
