Join our Risk Management team, where you will play a crucial role in managing non-financial risks for a Takaful operator.



If you meet these criteria, let us have a conversation!

- Relevant qualification in Accounting / Finance/ Actuarial Science or of equivalent recognition.
- Preferably more than 8 years related working experience in the Insurance or any relevant financial industry.

Prior experience in Public Listed or multinational organization setup are most welcome.
- Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management, Strategic Risk, Transformation Risk, Operational Risk and Emerging Risk assessments.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful information for decision making.
- Well versed with laws & regulations by BNM.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Initiative taker with a forward looking attitude and most crucially be able to thrive independently and collaborate in a team setting environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 

1) Enhance and implement the various requirements outlined in the Risk Framework, Policies and Procedures.

2) Prepare periodic Risk Management Reports entailing relevant management information and reporting thresholds to support prioritization and decision making.

3) Lead and undertake risk assessments in multiple domains including Operational Risk processes, Outsourcing and Third Party Risk assessments, Project Risk assessments and Emerging Risk assessments.

4) Provide risk advisory and guidance to various stakeholders.

5) Facilitate and coordinate relevant risk forums and committees’ proceedings.
