JOB DESCRIPTION:

Business Development Division (Property Development)

Conduct Land Feasibility Studies to access project viability.

Participate in tendering for new projects, including preparation of tender documents (Bill of Quantities, cost estimation) and evaluation of tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.

Familiar with JKR tender will be an additional advantage.

Control and monitor project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained from inception to completion.

Identify opportunities for cost-saving or value engineering during the design and construction stages.

Advise on the most efficient and cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and meeting project objectives.

Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior or management.

International Project Division

Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate for international project (Saudi Arabia) building works.

Participate in tendering preparation for new projects, including preparation of tender documents (Bill of Quantities, cost estimation) and evaluation of tenders.

Implement cost control procedures and review project budgets.

Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.

Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.

Assist the Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.

Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.

Ad-hoc assigned by management.

Contract Division

Manage sub-contractor appointment process including interviews and evaluations, and prepare Letters of Award (LOA).

Involve in the subcontractor awarding process.

Manage post-contract activities, including claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

Verify sub-contractors’ claims for accuracy and compliance.

Monitor project costs and update cost reports.

Coordinate with consultants and internal teams during pre-construction stages.

Maintain documentation for subcontract administration and payments.

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year experience in the related field for Executive level, 3 to 5 years for Senior Executive level, and 5 years and above for Assistant Manager level.

Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Chinese-speaking candidates will be preferred to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.

Willing to work at Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya .
