Cardworks department, you will lead a team in charge of revamping
and modernising the backend tech stack.

platform.

will report directly to Senior Management and your initial scope
will cover:

    Performance

    deployment of financial message switching and card management
    system products.

    & schedules based on high-level company objectives that are
    determined in collaboration with senior management.

    and ensure that company-wide priorities are aligned with all

Execution

    Manager and Product Owner when there is no dedicated person for

    roles.

    and attainment of the team’s goals & constantly
    re-evaluates priorities ensuring the most important work is always
    put first. 
  • style=color: rgb(68, 68, 68);>Ensures proper technical design
    and project plans, along with Tech Leads and Product
    Managers.
  • rgb(68, 68, 68);>Responsible for producing a long-term
    strategic roadmap of the team, with ICs and tech leads being
    responsible for the more detailed
    components.

Growth

    performance & is ultimately accountable for the performance
    of their subordinates & regular

    standards.

    and provides continuous
    feedback.

    selling them on the opportunity and why it is a career

Requirements:

  • style=color: rgb(68, 68, 68);>Bachelor's degree in computer
    science, or related
    field. 
  • style=color: rgb(68, 68,
    68);>Experience68, 68);>:68);> minimum of 6 years experience in Software Engineering,
    with 2+ years as a lead or
    manager.
  • rgb(68, 68, 68);>Experience in Cards Management
    Services
  • rgb(68, 68, 68);>Experience in small, medium, fast-paced
    companies or startups is a
    plus.
  • rgb(68, 68, 68);>Experience in Fintech, banking or AI is a
    plus 
  • style=color: rgb(68, 68, 68);>Strong programming skills in
    either Java or Python (Java experience
    preferred) 
  • style=color: rgb(68, 68, 68);>Familiarity with a modern tech
    stack, and expertise in a few components of it.
    Preferably: 
  • class=ql-indent-1>68);>At least 1 year of experience in releasing software
    products within a CI/CD
    environment 
    class=ql-indent-1>68);>At least 1 year experience working with cloud
    services
