Job description

Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and movement of materials.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.

Utilize ERP systems to track and manage inventory in real-time.

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure system accuracy.

Plan and coordinate inbound & outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries.

Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, expeditors and production teams to streamline material flow.

Monitor order fulfillment, shipment schedules, and logistics costs, optimizing efficiency.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export documentation, and logistics laws.

Supervise storekeepers, warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators, ensuring adherence to SOPs.

Design efficient warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity and streamline operations.

Implement racking systems, labeling, and bin locations to improve accessibility and reduce retrieval time.

Enforce safety standards, health regulations, and environmental guidelines in warehouse operations.

Develop and manage the logistics and warehouse budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Analyze freight costs, storage expenses, and inventory carrying costs for cost optimization.

Prepare monthly reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and process improvements.

Use ERP dashboards and analytics tools to monitor real-time logistics data and improve decision-making.

Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and international trade laws, including customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Export Specialist) is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.

    Proven experience in store and logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.

  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for inventory and logistics management.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Epicor system.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and transportation management.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA safety regulations, import/export compliance, and local logistics laws.

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations (e.g., INCOTERMS, U.S. Customs regulations, EU customs code).
