Intern Responsibilities – Test Software Automation
Automate Data Entry Processes
Develop scripts or tools to automate the transfer of test results from systems and handlers into the MARS platform.Ensure data accuracy and integrity during automation.Collaborate with Test Engineering Teams
Work closely with test engineers to understand current manual workflows and identify automation opportunities.Participate in regular syncs to gather feedback and refine automation tools.Support Software-Driven Initiatives
Extend automation solutions to other related software systems beyond MARS.Assist in integrating automation into broader operational processes.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain clear documentation of automation scripts, workflows, and implementation steps.Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and impact metrics.Testing & Validation
Conduct thorough testing of automation tools to ensure reliability and robustness.Validate output accuracy against manual entries.Continuous Improvement
Propose enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.Stay updated with relevant tools and technologies that can support automation efforts.Intern Qualifications – Test Software Automation
Educational Background
Currently pursuing a degree inComputer Science,Software Engineering,Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.Technical Skills
Proficiency inPython,C#, or other scripting languages used in automation.Familiarity withdata handling,API integration, ordatabase operations.Basic understanding oftest systems,handlers, ormanufacturing software platforms(e.g., MARS).Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities
Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions.Communication & Collaboration
Good written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and engaging with engineers and operators.Self-Motivation & Learning Attitude
Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)
