About the role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Web Engineer to join our Digital Workspace Experience team within Corporate IT.
In this role, you will play a critical part in the global delivery and support of our web platforms, with primary IT responsibility for ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
As a key member of the team, you will:
Manage and maintain our global customer-facing websites and underlying web infrastructure.
Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of web platforms across diverse environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and execute project activities that align with strategic goals.
Act as a technical expert in delivering robust web solutions that enhance the digital employee and customer experience.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
Administer and support global web platforms using Akamai, Apache HTTP Server and JBoss to ensure performance, security, and stability.
Managing day-to-day DNS operations, ensuring accurate domain configuration and resolution.
Design and deployment of DevOps automation frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, incorporating best practices in cloud operations.
Deploy and support automation scripts to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual work and drive consistent operations.
Deploy and maintainmonitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and support both live and pre-production environments.
Design, implement, and support IT projects that align with business strategies, ensuring timely delivery of robust and scalable technical solutions.
Deliver prompt and effective resolution or escalation of IT service issues, adhering to service level agreements and operational standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to prioritize enhancements and resolve critical issues.
Required
Bachelors degree in a related field
5+ years in enterprise web technologies
3+ years’ experience with cloud platforms; AWS
Skilled in Apache, Tomcat, JBoss
CI/CD pipeline and scripting experience
Strong in DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTPS, and CDN
Agile development familiarity
Excellent troubleshooting and communication
AWS/Linux certification is a plus
