A multinational retail company is looking for a Merchandising Operations Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team!
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the merchandising planning tools, forecasting, margin projection, pricing and budgeting. You'll also be required to develop and executing assortment plans that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Overseeing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained as well as assisting in the development and execution of promotional strategies and pricing tactics to drive sales and maximise profitability.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have a degree in business studies or a related field. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in buying / merchandising / business or demand planning in the retail sector, preferably the lifestyle category. You should also possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and negotiation skills.
